Raw makhana, graded like it matters
One product, done properly: raw, unflavoured makhana in export grades. No seasoning lines, no retail packs — bulk supply for importers, distributors, roasters, and private-label brands.
The sutta bands we supply
Sizing follows the trade’s sutta convention. Exact per-lot numbers — moisture, broken %, counts — are stated on the spec sheet and certificate of analysis for each shipment.
| Grade | Pearl size | Picking | Best suited for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lava 6+ SuttaFlagship | 19 mm and above | Hand-picked | The flagship: largest pearls, highest whiteness and pop rate. The grade export buyers ask for by name. |
| 6 Sutta | ≈ 16–19 mm | Hand-picked / machine-picked | Large, consistent pearls for premium retail and gifting programs. |
| 5 Sutta | ≈ 13–16 mm | Machine-picked | The workhorse grade for snacking brands and roasters. |
| 4 Sutta | ≈ 10–13 mm | Machine-picked | Value grade for milling, mixes, and institutional supply. |

Two honest lines
Hand-picked lots are selected pearl by pearl — the highest whiteness, fullest pop, and tightest size consistency the crop can offer. They cost more because skilled hands cost more.
Machine-picked lots are graded by sieve and density — excellent, consistent, and priced for volume programs. We will always tell you which is which; the difference is visible under a grade reference, and we supply one.
